Sirius began in 1988 formed from a captive model shop within an architectural practice in Leeds. Continuing with architectural model making as the core business we decided to expand into photographic prop making and then product prototyping, installing a machine shop with CNC and CAD facilities. This provided a sound basis throughout the early to mid nineties until rapid prototyping became the preferred approach. At this point we made our first forays into museum model and interactive making.
Since then we have continued to develop all aspects of three dimensional museum exhibits to include replicas, reconstruction and figurative sculpture in addition to model and interactive making. Our work can be found in museums and heritage centres throughout Britain and Ireland.
